Banana peels

Some people have had bad experiences with banana peels. The consensus seems to be that some peels are heavily treated with pesticides, which can cause a fast, massive die-off in a bin. This may be more of a problem for indoor bins and small bins, where the worms cannot escape from the noxious substances.
