Welcome to "WormWiki: Online Guide to Vermicomposting", this is a new little experiment on vermicomposters.com... Can we help people get the information they need to get started vermicomposting?
One of the things I've noticed with regards to vermicomposting information online is that there doesn't seem to be a comprehensive guide or "online book" about vermicomposting. There is plenty of great information in the form of one page "how to"'s, blogs, mailing lists and, of course, forums but it takes a bit of patience to wade through all the various sources especially for someone who is new to vermicomposting. One of the most common questions I've noticed on various online vermi forums and mailing lists is "how do I get started?" Hopefully this guide can provide an answer to that question and more. --Steven
So what is a "wiki"? If you haven't used a wiki before you might be wondering what a wiki is. Basically it is a webpage that anyone can edit / contribute to. Each person brings their unique experience to the practice of vermicomposting so hopefully this format will provide a good way for us to share our experiences and information with others. A wiki is a work in progress so please don't be shy about adding/editing we need all the help we can get building this out... mistakes can always be corrected later.
