Meat scraps in the bin

Meat will smell very bad as it decomposes. If your bin has BSF meat will be just fine, as they will consume it quickly. Otherwise, you can bury small pieces of meat in your bin and take care to not disturb that area. You will need to experiment to discover how deeply it must be buried. Meat is less problematic in an outdoor bin (where it can typically be buried deeper), but scavengers may be a concern.
